Rules - Extra InningsAny game in EOBA play that is tied must go to extra innings to break the tie. The curfew no longer is applied. The game continues past the curfew until the tie is broken. If you have not completed the full game when curfew is reached but the game is tied you must continue until the tie is broken. Example: If you are tied but only in the 5th inning and the time limit is reached, the game must continue, the 6th inning and each inning after will count as extra innings. The only time a game would be stopped at a tie is if weather, darkness, light failure, or a local park curfew is in place. EOBA Constitution: 4.2.14 All tie games shall be played to completion even if the curfews
noted in Clauses 4.2.1 and 4.2.4 have forced the tie, if weather and
light and park or local curfews permit. |
