Peterborough Tigers capture B Championship at Guelph Royals Peewee Tournament
The Peterborough Minor Peewee Tigers won the "B"
Championship the weekend of June 11-13 at the Guelph Royals Peewee Tournament.
In the 12 team tournament the Tigers were the only team to beat the eventual
A champs Newmarket winning by a score of 7-3. In their second game the Brampton
Red Sox handed Peterborough their only loss 15-4. The Tigers rebounded by
defeating Royal York 10-4. In the B Championship game the Tigers got the final
say with Brampton defeating the Red Sox 10-8.
