Peterborough Tigers Mosquito Team Champions at Barrie Tournament

The Elmhirst Loggers Major Mosquito Peterborough Tigers won the Barrie Minor Baseball Tournament over the weekend. In round robin play, the Tigers defeated Pickering 22- 15 and Aurora 13-5 and lost to Barrie 11-4. Finishing 2nd in their division, they faced Vaughan in semi-final action and won 6-0 to advance to the final. The Tigers rebounded from their first loss to Barrie and defeated them in the championship game 12-6.
