Kingston Thunder Hosts Minor Bantam and Bantam Tournaments & Wins Championships In Both
Kingston Thunder hosted both a Minor Bantam and Bantam Tournament June 17-19.
Both Thunder teams were tournament Champions!
Bantam Tournament:
The Kingston Thunder Bantam Team defeated the Quinte Royals in the semi-finals 2-1.
In the finals Thunder was trailing 9-6 going into the last inning vs. the Port Hope River Rats.
Thunder scored 4 runs in their final at bat to win the Championship 10-9.
Minor Bantam Tournament:
The Kingston McCoy Bus Service Minor Bantam Thunder went 5-0 to capture their
Championship.
Game 1- Kingston 6 Ottawa Royals 1, Ken Allan 3 hits, Cameron Parr 2 rbis,
Starter Benjamin Cross winning pitcher. Mike Parr 4 innings of shutout relief.
Game 2- Kingston 17, Brockville Bunnies 6, Will Van Allen and Logan Chartrand
3 rbis each. Starter Wyatt Crampton winning pitcher, Mackenzie Ley no earned
runs in two relief innings.
Game 3- Kingston 12, Oakville A's 4. Cam Parr 3 hits, Aaron Luchuk 3 rbis.
Starter Will Van Allen winning pitcher, Carter Hoffman 3 shutout relief innings.
Game 4- Kingston 12, Aurora Jays 2, Wyatt Crampton 4 rbis, Starter Ryan Bothwell
winning pitcher. Ben Cross 2 shutout relief innings.
Championship game - Kingston 5, Ottawa Royals 1, Will Van Allen 2 hits, 1
rbi, Starting pitcher Aaron Luchuk winning pitcher, gave up no hits in 4 innings.
Logan Chartrand 3 innings of shutout relief.
