Peterborough Tigers Capture EOBA Minor Mosquito Championship!

The Peterborough Tigers went 5-0 at the EOBA Minor Mosquito Championship Tournament in Oshawa August 19-21.
The Tigers beat the Ajax Spartans 14-6 in their opening round robin game.
In their second contest Peterborough outscored the Clarington Orioles 17-13.
The Tigers closed out their round robin play defeating the Cobourg Cardinals 12-2.
In the Semi-finals Peterborough continued to put up big numbers in the runs department scoring 17 times to the Oshawa Legionaires 9.
In the Championship Game the Tigers defeated the Pickering Red Sox 12-8.
The Tigers also took home the regular season pennant with 22 wins and 5 losses.
