The Eastern Ontario Baseball Association is calling for applications for the position of Head Coach for Fall Travel Teams. The teams will be made up of players from both the Minor and Major divisions of the Mosquito, Peewee and Bantam age groups using U.S. age eligibility guidelines.
The teams will travel to the South Eastern U.S. in late October or early November. The exact location has not been determined for this season, but last year, as an example, teams participated at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach S.C.*
These teams are not intended to be High Performance teams, but more to the point, life experience teams for players who wish to extend their season and enjoy an overall fun filled baseball experience. Players will be selected on a first come first serve bases fulfilling the position needs of the teams. The call for players will be put out to all, once the coaches are in place.
The successful candidates will work directly with the committee in the team planning for this tournament experience.
